Best Deep Tissue Massage in San Jose

    Roman Paradigm Massage & Therapy

    "Pillar to Your Healthy Lifestyle"

We are, "The best deep tissue massage in San Jose"!

Wow, can I really claim that? Not really, I know that there are dozens of massage therapists out in the San Jose & San Francisco Bay Area that could probably make that same claim. My real objective here is to grab certain keywords with my title for local search. We do offer deep tissue massage and We are located in San Jose, California, but to claim that we offer the best deep tissue massage in San Jose is purely subjective.

For this posting, I wanted to brand our catch phrase and to encourage web visitors to act on our free massgae offer. I could have went the "A Pillar to Your Healthy Lifestyle" route, but the problem here is that no one knows that Roman Paradigm Massage & Therapy is, "a pillar to your healthy lifestyle: And better yet who would use this in a Google search box looking for our services? Noone...UNLESS.

    1. We had a 1 million dollar ad campaign, I think a million dollars is suffice enough to saturate a local market. With this message until no matter where, you turned, you would see that Roman Paradigm Massage & Therapy is, "A Pillar to Your Healthy Lifestyle" message over and over again.
    2. Or, if our company was already a household name in the marketplace and everyone just knew not only our company name but also knew what tag phrases were associated with our company. Let you give you example, without saying the name, I know you can guess what companies these catch phrases belong, "Hello sir, would you like to supersize that?" or how about, "we will deliver in 30 minutes or less!"

So with this said, trying to brand our catch phrase or tag line would be fruitless and premature so, I decided to go with, we are "the best deep tissue massage in San Jose", something that a typical web user would already know or want without having to guess. Through our analytics we know that we get some many hits per month to our website with keywords such as, "deep tissue massage" and "best massage in san jose".

So what can we draw from this posting is...

    • Know your targeted optimal customer, watch your analytics and offer this customer exactly what they are looking for.
    • Don't try and establish your brand without having a million dollar ad campaign behind you first and expect great results or conversions.
    • Channel your web visitors so that initially they get exactly what they are looking for first, establish a relationship and then you sell them on your catch phrase or anything else once you establish that relationship. But only if the relationship and phrase are good, that it makes sense and if it is a consistent message that holds true. This is will actually make it much easier to remember as well. "Just Do It" tells everybody that you are talking about Nike, and, "We try harder" let's everyone know that you talking about Avis car rentals.

Ok now that I shared that with you, I hope that it has helped you to understand a little better about marketing a brand versus marketing to your customers online.

Here is a bonus for you, if you live in the San Jose or San Francisco Bay Area, come in and experience the difference, that you can feel. Ghetto Nurd is just a nickname that my girlfriend gave me.

Ghetto Nurd is someone who...."Not the traditional white people type, mainstream, T.V. Steve Urkel nerd, but someone who has ghetto characteristics, lives in the ghetto and participates in ghetto activities (probably because they don't come from money either), but at the same time is a nerd, not popular in the hood, tries to keep his or her head in the books, and aspires to get out of the hood through education and legal jobs."

I have been a massage therapist in the San Jose, San Francisco bay area for over 12 years. In those 12 years, I have worked in every type of setting (i.e. High End Spas, Chiropractic offices, sports therapy facilities and Corporate massage companies).

After 12 years of massaging, I fired myself as a therapist in 2007, At which time, I became a small massage business owner.
